The Australian College of Nursing is establishing a National Nursing Archive to celebrate and protect the history of the nursing profession in Australia. The National Nursing Archive is founded from the records of College of Nursing, Australia (formally the NSW College of Nursing) and the Royal College of Nursing Australia, and seeks in future to identify, collect and preserve at risk records of professional associations, hospitals and personal records of nursing practitioners.

As part of the establishment of the Archive, the College are seeking to create a directory of nursing related archives across Australia to help researchers and members of the community access nursing archives. We are seeking your response to this survey to support greater transparency over nursing archival collections in Australia.
